Varsity Soccer vs Arete Prep

We had a good game against Arete Prep at Moon Valley today and won 9-1. We played flat the first half but went into halftime up 2-1 with a goal and an assist by Jose Martinez. We made some adjustments at halftime and looked way better in the second half scoring seven goals. Captain Christian Escobar had a great game with three goals and two assists. Our other captain Enis Tenic also played great with four goals and an assist. Our goalie Alan Lozano got to play some in the field the second half and scored on a penalty kick. Mario Montoya also contributed with two assists off some nice passes. “We’ve gotten into a little pattern of starting out slow and are going to work to fix that as we have some important games coming up soon,” said Coach Harrison.
