Varsity Baseball at Yuma Catholic

The Falcons faced off against the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks. Orlando Chavez pitched 1 inning with 2 BBs, 1 K, 11 hits and 13 earned runs. The Falcon offense was led by Ethan Conroy who had the only Falcon hit. The Shamrocks beat the Falcons 28-0. “We will keep working hard to achieve our goals.” – Corey Gow

Jr. High Baseball vs Chandler Prep

The Falcons faced off against the Chandler Prep Titans. Luke Doyle started on the mound throwing 1 inning with 2 BBs, 3 Ks, 6 hits. Gabriel Chavez started the Falcons offense early with a walk, with Luke Doyle scoring our first run of the game. The Titans beat the Falcons 20-1. “We came a long way this season with everyone improving, We will continue to work hard till we have success,” said Coach Corey Gow.

Jr. High Girls Soccer vs Tempe Prep

The Lady Falcons lost their playoff game 4-0 to Tempe Prep on Friday. The offense had a few chances and Kim Aguilar led the scoring chances. Liliana Fendell had another great game in net keeping the Falcons in it all night. “I am so proud of the way these young ladies improved this season. The future is bright as long as the continue to work hard and improve,” Coach Scott said after the game.

Jr. High Boys Soccer vs Trivium Prep

The Falcons picked up their first win of the season, shutting out Trivium Prep 3-0 on Saturday. Thomas Wales scored the opener and Kevin Valenzuela made the score 2-0 at halftime. Thomas Wales scored a late goal to put it away for good. Goalkeeper Brayan Mendoza played brilliantly and had 8 saves in the shutout. “This was a game where I saw a lot of what we have worked so hard for at practice finally start to pay off. Everyone played their part in this game and it was a great team win to get us started into the post season,” coach Scott said after the game.

Jr. High Baseball at North Phoenix Prep

The Falcons faced off against the North Phoenix Prep Gladiators. Anthony Helmintaler started on the mound throwing 2 innings with 6 BBs, 1 Ks, 4 hits. Gabriel Chavez threw 3 great innings allowing 3 runs. 7 of the 9 Falcons got hits today, while Luke Doyle scored twice. The Gladiators beat the Falcons 6-3. “We will continue to work hard until we have success,” said Coach Corey Gow.

Jr. High Girls Soccer vs Trivium Prep

The Jr. High girls finished their regular season with their best game of the season. Despite a great effort in goal from Liliana Fendell, the Falcons lost bye a score of 5-0. The offense played great with Darla Armer, Kim Aguilar and Alexis Monts all having great chances on net. “I am very proud of the way these ladies played today. From day one to today, the improvement has been phenomenal.” Coach Scott said after the game.
