Varsity Volleyball at Joy Christian

The Falcons volleyball team earned their first win tonight, defeating Joy Christian 23-25, 25-12, 25-15, 25-13. After a dropping a close first set, the Falcons went on a serving tear gathering 36 aces in 97 serves. The team was lead by Jaci Norton with 10 kills hitting .571 and 4 aces,  Abby Rice with 8 kills hitting .545, Julia Burke with 7 kills and 6 aces, and Alysa Anshutz with 2 kills and 8 aces.  Your Lady Falcons will be back in action on Tuesday night hosting Scottsdale Prep here at the Nest. “I am so proud of the girls tonight, they learned the lesson of the past few games and continued to move forward together. It’s exciting to see how quickly they are putting things together,” said Coach Walsh.
