On Friday night the Falcons took an opening night loss to the Veritas Falcons, 39-7. The Falcons fell behind early and looked sluggish from the start but rallied in the second quarter to put seven points on the board. Thomas Burkhart led the offense with 8 catches and 82 total yards. Burkhart scored the lone touchdown for the Falcons with a 61 yard reception from Orlando Chavez capped with an extra point from freshman Ali Al -Shiteawi. “I appreciate the effort of some of our seniors however, we still lack overall leadership and heart to bring us where we need to be,” said coach Cluckey. “I am hoping that we can find that fire I know we have.
