The Falcons dropped Friday night’s game in front of the home crowd with a 54-13 loss. The Falcons had a hard time moving the ball Friday night as Arizona Lutheran controlled the line of scrimmage. Colin Statt continued to lead the offensive stats with six catches for 109 yards, while Orlando Chavez recorded eight catches for 79 yards. The defense continued to struggle making open field tackles and getting any pressure on Arizona Lutheran’s quarterback who had an eternity in the backfield allowing them to throw the ball deep down field. “We will continue to struggle until we get better play from our lineman,” said coach Cluckey. The team continued to fight and was able to put some points on the board in the second half with the play of QB Jason Evans who went 20 of 34 with 208 yards.
