The Girl’s Track and Field team competed at the Hal Anders Invitational on Saturday April 11, 2015. The girl’s team placed 13th out of 21 teams. Tyeanna Dumas placed third in the 100m with a time of 12.95 which qualifies her for state in the 100m. She also came in third place in the 200m with a time of 26.51, setting the school record, and also qualifying her for state in the 200m. Tyeanna has already qualified for state in the 400m with a time of 60.98. The girl’s 4X100 relay came in fifth with a time of 52.39, which is a new school record for Devon Garner, Tyeanna Dumas, Tyreanna Dumas, and Danyelle Earl. The girl’s 4X800 relay ran their best time this year with Paula Dellinger, Yazmin Aguilar, Lauren Miller, and Savannah Williams running an 11:53.33. McKenzie Mordhorst had a PR, personal record, in the 300m hurdles improving her time by four seconds with a 58.35 “The coaching staff is excited to see so many school records being broken and personal records being set,” said Coach Erickson.
