We gave the No. 2 team Amphitheater all they could handle but came up a little short in overtime, 2-0. Our defense played great all game and our keeper played amazing and had 16 saves on the night. At the end of regulation we came so close to winning the game on a great run from Justin Markus but he couldn’t quite beat their keeper. In the overtime period, Amphitheater made two perfect shots from far out to win the game. “Even though we didn’t come away with the win, I am very proud of this team. We had a great season and definitely left it all on the field tonight. We are losing some key seniors but the future of North Pointe Soccer looks very promising,” said Coach Harrison.
