The Boys Freshman Basketball team hosted Northwest Christian again in a game that ended in a 55-38 defeat for the Falcons. The Falcons played a tremendous first half and went into halftime with a two point lead over Northwest due to a buzzer beater three-pointer by Noah Farnsworth to end the half. However, the 2nd half played out differently as post player Zach Hetrick was in foul trouble the second half and eventually had to leave the game early after gaining his 5th foul in the 4th which hurt the Falcons on the boards. A series of missed layups and close shots led to easy fastbreak buckets in the 4th quarter by Northwest and allowed them to pull away for the win. Noah Farnsworth led the Falcons in scoring with 23 points. “Most of the time things don’t go your way but when that happens in the game of basketball, there is no time to let your guard down or to take time off to pout, you’ve got to get back to the other end and dig in defensively, ” said Coach Huck.
