Varsity Football vs Tonopah Valley

The North Pointe Falcon Football team battled hard in a losing effort to Tonopah Valley Friday night.  On offense David Martinez ran for a touchdown in the first half followed by a 2 point conversion pass from quarterback Jayson Evans to Colin Statt. Running back David Martinez  rushed 11 times for 71 yards and Gregory Underwood rushed for 40 yards but the offense lacked the big play threat that it had previously showed in the first four games. On defense David Brown lead the team with 9 tackles followed by Colin Statt with 7, Devon Stone-Savey with 6 and Ian Corcoran  and Zachary Clayton each had 5 tackles in the 47-8 loss. Coach Brigham said, “The players spirits continue to be up even in defeat and the North Pointe fans showed how truly faithful they are by remaining in their seats cheering the team on the entire game.”
