The girls cross country team competed yesterday at Deem’s Hill Park. The meet was hosted by Sunrise Mountain High School. All of the girls who competed improved their times from last week’s meet. The team was led by Yazmin Aguilar who placed 25th overall, and just after her finished Lauren Miller, 26th overall. Lauren improved her time by almost four minutes from last week. The next three to finish for the team were Sierra Robinson, Olivia Garlick, and Sabrina Bohn. The team placed 4th. “The girls all looked much stronger yesterday and I was impressed with their improvements. We are going to continue to work on building endurance and probably start doing some hill training this next week,” said Coach Beam.
